The Day I Got A Sweetheart

The Set Up

It was a beautiful summer day in 2023, and I was feeling particularly lonely. I had been single for what felt like forever, and my friends knew it. So, they decided to set me up on a blind date.

The First Meeting

I was nervous as I walked into the coffee shop where we had agreed to meet. I didn’t know what to expect, but as soon as I saw her, I knew that this was going to be different.

She was sitting at a table in the corner, reading a book. Her long, curly hair was pulled back into a messy bun, and she was wearing a simple white sundress. As soon as our eyes met, I felt a spark.

We spent the next few hours talking, laughing, and getting to know each other. We walked around the city, stopping to grab ice cream and take silly photos. It was like we had known each other for years.

A few days later, we went on our second date. This time, we went to a fancy restaurant and dressed up. We talked about our hopes and dreams, and I felt like I was falling in love.

On our third date, we went to the beach. As the sun was setting, we walked along the shoreline. She turned to me, and we shared our first kiss. It was magical, and I knew that I never wanted to let her go.

We got married on a sunny day in June, surrounded by our closest friends and family. It was the happiest day of my life, and I knew that I had found my soulmate.
